We know a trip to Italy requires a considerable amount of planning, time and money, and we're very grateful for the arrangements each of you are making in order to join in our celebration. Below are some details which will help to plan your trip.
Getting to the Venue
The closest airport is Milan Malpensa (MXP) with a flight time of 2 hours from any London airport and 2 hours 40 mins from Dublin airport. Stansted & Dublin airports offer flights with RyanAir which arrive at Milan terminal 1, whereas Gatwick airport is serviced by Easyjet, arriving at terminal 2.
We recommend using Google Flights or SkyScanner to find the best flights, then book directly with the airline.
You can also fly into Milan Linate, a smaller airport which is primarily serviced by British Airways at a similar cost.
The transfer time from Milan Malpensa airport to Luino takes 60 minutes when traveling by car or taxi, which we recommend as the most convenient way. If you are wanting to hire a car, both terminals have a large selection of providers which we found reasonably priced.

Accommodation
Our wedding venue is located in the small town of Colmegna, here you will find some apartments owned by Villa Porta, as well as a few B&Bs. For a larger town experience, we suggest staying in Luino, which is only a 5 minute drive to the venue. Luino will also serve as a pick up and drop off point for the transport that will be provided for each event. Alternatively, there is a nearby town called Maccagno, which offers a quieter, lakeside setting.
